Today we continue through Romans in chapter twelve. Paul gives instruction on how to obey God in light of the our new birth as Christians.
On todays episode we talk about Critical Theory. What it is, how we see it manifest in society and the church, and why it is profoundly unbiblical. We play two different news clips on this episode, the second of witch may not be appropriate for younger listeners.
Scripture: Colossians 2:6-8, Romans 2:11-16, James 2:8-9, Deuteronomy 24:14, Romans 3:19-20
Today we continue through Romans. Chapter eleven is really thick. It can be hard to get a grasp on what Paul is getting at. However, we defiantly see language about people being taken in and out of the covenant. Chase gives a few thoughts on that.
We have a little bit different episode for you today. We sat down and watched the second night of the second round of Democratic presidential debates! listen as we give our thoughts on everything that went down.
On this episode we start by looking at a few of the Democrats running for president, and discuss how we think this election cycle will unfold. We get into minimum wage, property rights, gun control, universal basic income, “affordable” college, and Religious liberty. We wrap it up by explaining why Democracy, which means “the people rule” is not as great as we’ve been told.
Today we continue through Romans in Chapter nine. In this text, Paul clearly explains God’s complete sovereignty over the salvation of man. Predestination, especially in the context of our eternity, can be a hard concept to swallow. Because God has revealed this to us in His word, we need to try and understand it. We would love to hear you thoughts on todays episode! Don’t hesitate to reach out and subscribe on your podcast feed!
Many bible believing Christians are divided over whether or not the American Revolution was a just action on the part of the colonies. In light of the recent holiday, we decided to address that topic. Believers who oppose the political ideology behind the revolution will cite passages such as Romans 13 and 1 Peter 2:13, both of which tell us to be submissive to authority. But is it that simple? On this episode we make the case that the American revolution was in fact, a biblically justified struggle for liberty. We would love to hear your thoughts!
