Today, Chase and Andy talk about the Biblical case for free speech and against “Hate speech” laws.

  1. Love the final point of the gospel being considered hate speech by those who hear it!

    One of the things that came to mind with the role of government toward free speech in the Bible is the passage about the man who cursed God in Lev 24.

    One thing I think is important to consider is in what context we apply the OT law to the civil government or we apply it to the Church (since OT Israel was both). Paul uses language in 1 Corinthians 5:13 that seams to apply OT law standards to Church discipline.
