Today we wrap up our Romans study in chapters fifteen and sixteen!
On todays episode we talk about Drew Brees and a video he made for Focus on the Family encouraging kids to bring their bibles to school. Once again, the tolerant left proves there is no tolerance available to those who profess the lordship of Christ.
Today we are back at our Romans study! Very happy to be joined by Chase’s dad on this episode! This is a text we have talked a lot about, but its very important and here we are in our study. We get into government, civil law, disobedience and taxes, and also touch on love being the “fulfillment of the law”. At the end we even crack open a reformed confession! It was a very fun episode, hope you all enjoy it! Let us know your thoughts and questions!
On todays Episode we talk about the fact that #chosenone and #antichrist where recently trending on twitter because of a comment the president made about his trade war with China, as well as comments made by a talk radio host.
We take a moment to look closely at the few biblical text mentioning the Antichrist, and discuss how silly all of this is in light of them. Not only is Trump not the Antichrist, the modern concept of a future end times ruler who will deceive the nations and usher in the tribulation is not a biblical teaching.
Scripture: 1 John 2:18-25, 1 John 4:1-6, 2 John 4-11.
Today we continue through Romans in chapter twelve. Paul gives instruction on how to obey God in light of the our new birth as Christians.
On todays episode we talk about Critical Theory. What it is, how we see it manifest in society and the church, and why it is profoundly unbiblical. We play two different news clips on this episode, the second of witch may not be appropriate for younger listeners.
Scripture: Colossians 2:6-8, Romans 2:11-16, James 2:8-9, Deuteronomy 24:14, Romans 3:19-20
Today we continue through Romans. Chapter eleven is really thick. It can be hard to get a grasp on what Paul is getting at. However, we defiantly see language about people being taken in and out of the covenant. Chase gives a few thoughts on that.
